Dr. sc. ETH Ivan Tomka studied interdisciplinary nature science at ETH and received his PhD in physical chemistry in the field of magnetic resonance.

His curiosity led him into the healthcare sector in 2014. He started a career as a data scientist for Helsana. Since then he worked in different departments at Helsana and formed his expertise in the field of claims adjudication automatization, purchase of health services, tariff assessment and health care provider assessment.
